Hello 9th Grade Parents/Guardians/Supportive Adults! 

 

We are very excited that your child will be attending Wilsonville High School, and we look forward to seeing them at:

 

 

9th Grade Orientation Day 

August 24th, 8:30am-12:00pm 

in the WHS Main Gym. 

 

Our Link Crew Program will help get your 9th grader off to a great start! Positive, responsible, hand-selected Link Crew Leaders will welcome and support your 9th grade students to achieve success in their first year of high school. 

 

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? 

1. If your student will need bus transportation on the day of Orientation, please complete the attached Google Form by Monday, August 10th, so we have time to arrange transportation with First Student.

2. Your child will receive an invitation to orientation sent through their school email in early August. To check their high school email, all they need to do is change their middle school to whs.wlwv.k12.or.us (If they can’t log in, the invitation is also included at the bottom of this email. We’ll make sure to help them get connected to their email in the first few days of school.)

3. Orientation day is active! Please encourage your students to leave backpacks, purses, and other items at home. Incoming 9th graders should wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement.

4. Encourage your 9th grader to have a good breakfast before coming to Orientation. We will provide a small snack. If your child has food allergies, please have them bring a small snack in their pockets.

5. Cell phone use is not permitted on this day.

This is a student-only function. We encourage you to let your child attend on their own.
