Naviance Student

Wilsonville High School uses Naviance Family Connection for college and career research.  Every WHS student has an account, where they can create and maintain their own personal college planning account, take self-discovery assessments, use college research tools and career exploration resources.

The following websites are useful for online career research:

  • Oregon CIS: The Oregon Career Information System (CIS) provides a system of occupational and educational information to help Oregonians learn about the world of work and education.  
  • Clackamas Career and Technical Education Consortium
    C-TEC is a consortium of schools and partners in Clackamas County committed to creating high quality pathways from education to the workforce. The consortium prioritizes partnership, collaboration, innovation and leveraged resources to provide high quality programs and efficient use of public resources.
  • MyPathCareers
    Learn about hundreds of career opportunities through keyword searches, videos and diaries. Resources abound within this site, sponsored by WorkSource Oregon.
  • Oregon Apprenticeship 
    Contains information about what is involved in becoming a registered apprentice in a variety of industries.  Also available is career exploration information, as well as information pertaining to women in the trades.
  • U.S. Department of Labor – Occupational Outlook Handbook
    Describes training and education needed, earnings, prospects and working conditions for hundreds of jobs.
  • Oregon Employment Department
    Serves as a web portal for job listings, job market information and other resources.
  • WorkSource Oregon
    A public/private statewide network that connects job seekers and employers
  • Vocational Information Center
    Explores vocational and technical careers, the skills employers want, find a trade school, research technical topics and find out about the current job market.
